Taxi & WAV Roadworthy Inspections — Cranbourne
Unbooked-service CPVs — taxis and wheelchair-accessible vehicles — need a Roadworthy Certificate from a licensed Victorian vehicle tester every 12 months, completed after the cameras and fare equipment are fitted. We are that tester: $330 flat, scheduled around your fit-out, findings in writing.
Need a roadworthy? Roadworthy Cranbourne West — $330
The unbooked-service rule
Safe Transport Victoria draws a line between booked-only services and unbooked services: taxis and WAVs carry the stricter requirement — a full Roadworthy Certificate from a Licensed Vehicle Tester, annually, with the inspection done after cameras, fare devices and terminals are installed. That sequencing matters: fit-out first, certificate second, so the certificate covers the car the public actually rides in.
We are a licensed Victorian vehicle tester issuing that certificate on site at $330 flat. We are not the scheme’s appointed provider and don’t claim to be — we’re the local tester who books you to a time and puts every finding in writing.
Fleet operators: make it boring
Two or ten taxis, the winning move is the same: stagger the anniversaries, book two weeks ahead of each deadline, pair the RWC with the service so each car visits once a year. Our fleet lane (from $350 a vehicle) exists for exactly this, and the paperwork lands in one predictable file instead of ten surprises.
