Your Last Repair Didn’t Fix It. Now What?

Paid, collected, and the fault came back by the weekend. Before round two anywhere, get the fault actually identified.

The Pattern

Why repairs miss

Most failed repairs share one anatomy: the fault was never diagnosed, only matched to a familiar pattern. The part that usually fails got replaced; the fault was something else; the symptom returned. Nobody cheated you — but nobody measured anything either, and you paid for the guess.

The reset is procedural: our $374 incl. GST diagnostic reserves a technician and a bay for two hours on your fault alone — scan data, live measurement, road testing that reproduces the symptom. Bring every invoice from the previous attempts: ruled-out parts are evidence, and they usually shorten the path. The finding arrives in writing, the repair is quoted separately, and you choose who does it — including going back to the first workshop armed with a finding.

Your Rights

The repair you already paid for

Under Australian Consumer Law, repairs must be carried out with due care and skill and be fit for purpose — a repair that did not fix the stated fault may entitle you to a remedy from the workshop that did it. Our written finding is exactly the document that conversation needs. We state what the fault is and what was replaced unnecessarily where the evidence shows it — plainly, in writing, without editorialising about anyone.

FAQ

FAQ

No – the report states technical findings, not opinions about people. What the evidence shows, it says plainly; that is more useful to you anyway.

It is your document – many customers do exactly that under their consumer-law rights. A written finding beats a verbal complaint every time.

Then the fault is something additional, and the report says so – which also matters, because it clears the first repair and stops you fighting the wrong battle.
