GWM Ora Service Guide
Servicing an Ora is mostly inspection done honestly: the EV system checks reported in writing, brakes checked for regen-rust rather than wear, tyres rotated against EV torque, the 12-volt load-tested, cabin filter changed, and software currency confirmed — a flat $400 incl. GST with nothing invented.
Due for an EV service? EV Service Cranbourne West — $400
What an EV service is (and is not)
No oil, no plugs, no exhaust — but not nothing. The Ora’s service value lives in the checks: high-voltage system health, coolant circuit condition, disc corrosion from light use, tyre wear under instant torque, 12-volt reality, cabin air. Each service ends with a written report, not a shrug.
The city-car pattern
Oras live in traffic, which means regen does the braking and the friction brakes quietly rust. Periodic firm stops and proper inspection keep them ready; ignoring them is how an EV fails a roadworthy.
Software and behaviour
Updates change charging logic and assist behaviour. If the car behaves differently this month, the version history usually explains it — we check currency at every service.
Costs, in writing
Flat $400 incl. GST for the EV service. Fault-finding is separate: $374 incl. GST pre-paid diagnostics with a written report. No surprises is the house rule.
