Skye EV Servicing — Young Suburb, Silent Driveways
Skye’s young families picked EVs for the same reason they picked the suburb: the sums work. Keep them working — flat $400 incl. GST EV service nine minutes away, written report every visit, prices that never surprise.

One-EV-one-ute households, served whole
The classic Skye driveway pairs an Atto 3 or Model Y with a working ute — two service lanes, one workshop: $400 flat for the electric, $299 logbook for the diesel, and a single written record for the household. Book both online; stagger the days so nobody’s stranded; tap the loan-car chip if the diary’s tight.
What young EVs need most: honest baselines
Skye’s EVs are mostly first-generation-of-ownership — the years when documentation matters more than repairs. Tyres measured against torque wear, discs inspected against regen rust, 12-volt load-tested, coolant circuits checked, software version logged, state-of-health recorded where the platform reports it. Every figure written, so warranty years leave a paper trail and resale day starts strong. A hybrid or EV roadworthy needs a tester holding Victoria’s EV testing category — our accreditation doesn’t currently cover it, so those certificates aren’t available from us just yet. EV and hybrid servicing here is unaffected.

EV Service Skye — FAQ
A firm conventional brake stop once a week (safely) to keep discs clean, and the annual service on the calendar interval. Cheap habits, long car.
It’s the classic EV pattern: short hops, endless wake-sleep 12-volt cycles, brakes on regen only. Not harmful — just exactly what the inspection watches.
$400 is the service, full stop. Anything discovered gets a written quote and your yes before a spanner turns — the house rule on every lane.
