We service the Toyota Kluger across the 3.5L V6 and the 2.5L hybrid. Toyota schedules the Kluger at 12 months or 15,000km, whichever comes first.
Every service uses correct-specification oil and filters, covers every item the manufacturer lists for that interval, and finishes with a road test and a stamped logbook.
What we watch for on the Toyota Kluger
- V6 water pump and oil leaks. The 2GR V6 is a strong engine but water pumps and valve-cover gaskets are known wear items. We check for weeping at every service.
- Hybrid battery cooling. On hybrids the battery cooling intake sits in the cabin and blocks with dust and pet hair. A blocked intake shortens battery life. We check and clean it.
- Brakes on a heavy car. The Kluger is a big seven-seater. Pads, rotors and fluid deserve attention every service, not occasionally.

- We don’t work off another workshop’s diagnosis. If someone else has told you what is wrong, we will listen, and then we will do our own diagnostic work before we quote or replace anything. We are the ones warranting the repair, so it has to be our finding. That means diagnostics is charged for our time — from $374, two-hour minimum — and it is not a free quote.
Once we have found the fault, you get a fixed written price and nothing happens until you approve it.
