We service the Honda CR-V across the 1.5L VTEC Turbo and the 2.0L and 2.4L naturally aspirated petrol engines. Honda schedules the CR-V at 12 months or 10,000km, whichever comes first — a shorter kilometre interval than many rivals.
Every service uses correct-specification oil and filters, covers every item the manufacturer lists for that interval, and finishes with a road test and a stamped logbook.
What we watch for on the Honda CR-V
- Oil condition on the 1.5 turbo. The 1.5 VTEC Turbo is known for fuel diluting the engine oil, particularly on short cold trips. We check oil level and condition carefully and tell you what we find.
- AWD rear differential fluid. On all-wheel-drive CR-Vs the rear diff fluid is a genuine service item and is often overlooked.
- Brakes and suspension. Standard family-SUV wear, checked properly every visit.

- We don’t give prices over the phone. Not for repairs. We can tell you what a scheduled service costs because that is a known job, but we will not guess at a repair from a description. The car needs to be here. A guess over the phone is either too high and you walk away, or too low and we have to ring you back with bad news — neither is fair on you.
- We don’t work off another workshop’s diagnosis. If someone else has told you what is wrong, we will listen, and then we will do our own diagnostic work before we quote or replace anything. We are the ones warranting the repair, so it has to be our finding. That means diagnostics is charged for our time — from $374, two-hour minimum — and it is not a free quote.
Once we have found the fault, you get a fixed written price and nothing happens until you approve it.
