Mercedes C-Class Service Cost & Schedule
What does it cost to service a Mercedes C-Class, and how often? A Cranbourne West Mercedes specialist explains the A/B schedule and how to keep costs down (companion to our C-Class problems guide).
How the C-Class service schedule works
The C-Class uses the ASSYST Plus system, alternating an “A” (minor) and “B” (major) service, typically every 12 months or 15,000–25,000 km. The car tells you when it’s due, but age matters too — oil degrades over time.
An A service covers oil/filter, inspection and resets; a B service adds cabin/air filters, brake-fluid changes on schedule and a deeper inspection.
What a C-Class service costs
Dealer C-Class servicing is pricey; as an independent Mercedes specialist we do the same work to the same schedule for less, with correct-spec oil and genuine-quality parts, logbook stamped so your warranty stays intact.
Cost depends on A vs B and your engine (a C200 differs from a C63 AMG). We give a fixed written quote before we start.
Keeping C-Class costs down
Service on time with the right oil, do the transmission service when due, and fix the known items (oil leaks, suspension) early. That’s the cheapest way to own a C-Class.
