Logbook / general servicefrom $349
- What you pay
- From $349 incl. GST for a 4-cylinder non-European petrol car, $299 for Chinese brands and diesel 4WD/utes, and a $500 base rate for a European car.
- What’s included
- Oil and oil filter plus a vehicle health check. European servicing uses manufacturer-specified long-life oil and a genuine filter, and the schedule is set by the maker’s own system, which is why it costs more.
- What is not included
- Larger engines and bigger service intervals cost more. Anything beyond the base service is approved with you by phone before it is done — you get the exact fixed price in writing before we start any work.
Roadworthy certificate (RWC)$330
- What you pay
- $330 incl. GST, flat — petrol and diesel vehicles.
- What’s included
- The roadworthy inspection, carried out at a licensed Victorian vehicle tester workshop.
- What is not included
- Any repairs the car needs in order to pass. Those are a separate job and are quoted in writing first. Electric and full-hybrid roadworthys — Victoria requires the EV testing category, which our accreditation doesn’t currently cover.
Pre-purchase / RACV inspection$395 · $460
- What you pay
- $395 incl. GST in our workshop, or $460 mobile (we come to the car). Prepaid, card only.
- What’s included
- A full written inspection report on the car before you buy it, from an RACV-accredited workshop.
- What is not included
- Repairs, and any dealing with the seller on your behalf. Rego and the seller’s mobile number are required when you book.
EV service$400
- What you pay
- $400 incl. GST.
- What’s included
- Full diagnostic scan, high-voltage visual safety inspection, EV system & charging checks with a written report, brakes, tyres, cooling-system and suspension checks, road test and a digital health report.
- What is not included
- Replacement parts and any extra manufacturer-scheduled items — quoted separately in writing.
Air-con service & regasQuoted

- Quoted in writing once we see the car.
- What’s included
- A leak test first — so a regas doesn’t just leak straight back out. We quote the regas or any repair in writing before work begins.
- What is not included
- Fault-finding. Not cold and you don’t know why? That is Diagnostics at $374 — we find the fault first.
Breakdown towing$279
- What you pay
- $279 incl. GST within 30 km, paid by card before dispatch. PrestigeTow members request the tow in the member portal instead.
- What’s included
- Towing for mechanical or electrical failure. The 30 km is measured from our workshop and applies to the whole trip, whether the car comes to us or to another licensed workshop you choose.
- What is not included
- Beyond 30 km, or outside our normal trading hours — we quote the price before the truck moves. Accident towing and specialist recovery are separate services.
Family fleet — prepaid oil & filter$199 · $450
- What you pay
- $199 per car incl. GST, or $450 for a European car. Declared and paid upfront, for every vehicle.
- What’s included
- Engine oil to the correct specification and a new oil filter. That is the whole job.
- What is not included
- Every other filter, fluid, part and check. An oil change is not a logbook service and will not keep a new-car warranty intact. Five or more cars in one household is a negotiated rate — call us.
Fleet servicing (business)from $350
- What you pay
- 1–5 vehicles: from $350 per standard vehicle, $450 European. 6–10: from $330 standard, $430 European. 11 or more: a Fleet Maintenance Agreement application is required.
- What’s included
- Tiered per-vehicle pricing, one account and 30-day invoicing.
- What is not included
- Online booking for fleets of 11 or more — those go through the fleet application, not this form.

How the family rate actually works — read this first
- It’s paid upfront, for every vehicle, locked in. The family rate applies to the cars you pay for in advance. We don’t set a discount off a spoken number and hope the rest turn up — the vehicles are declared and paid for at the start, and that’s the deal. Once it’s locked in it’s locked in for all of them.
- We don’t quote repairs over the phone. A scheduled service is a known job and we’ll give you that price happily. A repair is not. We won’t guess at a fault from a description — the car needs to be at the workshop. A phone guess is either too high and you walk away, or too low and we ring you back with bad news. Neither is fair on you.
- We don’t work off another workshop’s diagnosis. If you’ve been told what’s wrong somewhere else, we’ll listen — then we do our own diagnostic work before we quote or replace a single part. We’re the ones warranting the repair, so the finding has to be ours. Diagnostics is a $374 pre-paid fixed minimum charge (a dedicated two-hour diagnostic booking). It is not a free quote.
The prepaid $199 / $450 rate covers engine oil to the correct specification and a new oil filter. Every other filter, fluid, part and check is extra and quoted in writing first. An oil change is not a logbook service and will not keep a new-car warranty intact — if your car is still under warranty, book a full logbook service instead.
